Just so you know, where a guy commits doesn't make him a better player. That and however many commits doesn't make anyone a better team, if they were on it the previous year.

Whistle blows, it's who can do what against who.

lolololol. Actually, it kind of does. Just roll down the teams in college and look at the rosters. Look at the rankings every year in high school lacrosse and the best teams are filled with high level recruits. Keep hope alive.
I don't think you read my post very closely. Committing on its own does not make someone individually or as a team any better. Those guys were all on the team last year? How many does Ryken have?
And yeah, the very best teams have them. But they're the best teams. Was SJC on that list last year? You should actually look at the numbers on a school like Malvern Prep, St A's, yada if you're so infatuated by commits. They don't look similar to SJC. So your comparison stops there.

Agreed some of these kids will never see the field playing D1, simply depth and index helpers.

Hard to follow. St. A's and Malvern had better commits and they were better than SJC's commits and those teams were better. Agreed. SMR had exactly 1 good win in the WCAC regular season and 2 upset victories in OT before getting blown out by DM who had better commits. Really, the win over GC might have been expected when comparing the '25 commits since SMR had more than GC. Commits aren't an automatic, but if there was betting in hs lax this would be the major indicator.

If you want to get recruited at the D1 level, no better program than SHC who continues to pump out D1 commits year after year.

Eh. You said the same thing last year then lost in the WCAC quarters. But good luck with the hope.

high profile commits are great for the individual players, but don't necessarily translate to team success. it can actually have the opposite effect.

That’s the exception, not the rule. Wishful thinking.

lol - I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and chalk it up to autocorrect, but if you actually knew anything about the school (awesome) or program (solid) you’d correct the autocorrect.
