If you don’t mind me asking, what were DCs stats? DD is headed up for junior day soon and not sure how much of a long shot this is going to be.
If coach is experienced (there for awhile), approx 30% of ones they offer up get admitted.

My kid is waitlisted at Harvey Mudd too! But he has gotten some solid offers already, so it is OK.
Anonymous wrote:My DD was rejected also. 4.0 UW, 6 APs (taking another 6 senior year), 1560, an international award in a STEM competition, research through a competitive summer program, two varsity sports, etc. Wasn't expecting to get in due to the ridiculously low odds. Moving on.

I know that is frustrating but it is even competitive for a waitlist offer.
Anonymous wrote:How important is interviews with MIT? By this, I don't mean if the individual got an interview but that the interview went well.
Anonymous wrote:My DD has heart set on MIT for next year, which is not wise. If rejected or admitted, can you share why DC thought they were a good candidate? Stats, ECs, whatever? TIA and good luck all!
