Well. The GOP is in charge of the whole ball of wax now. The GOP keeps asking for more more more and has done nothing to rein in federal expenses.
The only POTUS who balanced the budget in the 50 years was Clinton. W burned through the budget surplus he inherited on the most recent ill-advised ME war.
It was never the intention. The purpose of DOGE was to clean up the files for Elon, steal data and free up more funds for the eventual (ego-driven) war.

Couldn’t agree more! Husband and I both laid off from Doge ramifications in contracting. Can’t find anything but shit paying jobs w no benefits. So while we pay for our family of four with no help he’s just on to the next shiny object. People on both sides need to wake up! We are early fifties, tearing through our savings, applying in to the abyss of this job market and I don’t see it getting any better. Sector after sector is laying people off.
Don't worry, incompetent Kristi Noem will still be employed. You can turn a whole airplane into your love next on the taxpayer dime and you'll just be continuously rewarded.
