Meanwhile, Ukraine is still waiting for sufficient US support.
I absolutely have sympathy for the Iranian people.
I also am firmly against another misadventure in the Middle East. Lest we forget, our footprints are all over the "why" Iran is the way it is today.

The region and the world will be better off after the dust settles.
So just bomb a few buildings and air bases, and Iran magically becomes peaceful and democratic? Dick Cheney sold us that BS in 2003 and look how well it worked.
Wait and see, then spout off. The Iranian people, vice the government, want regime change, and have no interest in supporting Hamas or Hezbollah. The writing is on the wall for the Palestinians; their patron is about to evaporate, leaving them even more enfeebled than they always have been.
F off. The only regime the US should change is the one in Washington DC.

Good luck to Europe taking 60m
Iranian refugees.
The Iran war chaos will almost certainly spill into Iraq (which finally reached post war peace/normalcy and stability just a few years ago with people moving back). Turkey and Israel will fight their proxy in Iraq.
Syria and Lebanon will continue to get pummeled by Israel and Palestinians won’t have a changed situation.
Wild cards are the Saudis. If Saudis support the Iranians and Russians over the Israelis and Americans(and they’re hinting at this perhaps to discourage America/trump from war), this will be a huge break in 80 years of foreign policy.
Venezuela was the backup plan for oil if Saudis flip.
Such a headache for a friend who really isn’t worth much to the united states strategically
