Someone will have hurt feelings if they are in the slower math group. As a result you have these classes with very disparate levels. The higher level kids are bored and if you are lucky they keep themselves busy with reading. The lower level kids get some help but not enough because the teacher has to deal with the rest of the class. The mid level kids get lost in the shuffle and many of them are probably just barely failing these state tests.
This is just my theory of course. They even tout this “ict” class which has two teachers but half special ed and have general ed. Even with two teachers someone is getting lost in the shuffle here.
Our approach is to supplement at home with ELA and doing Russian math class. We are moving before middle school.

Nearly half the public school kids are below proficiency in math and English. NY spends a massive amount per pupil and still fails at providing a basic education.
NY’s model is not working.
No Red states have failed look at the US red states are always at the bottom

The “declining performance” in public schools is due to increased immigration, period. I work at a school with high numbers of language learners and this accounts for nearly all of our students below grade level. We are tossing kids into the system at age 5 with little English and little background in school and then somehow expecting it to even out.

Screw off the US is about to make kids work for pennies in factories with zero protections and girls will not be educated at all.
Yeah you are a complete moron
Project 2025’s plan for all women is to revoke their credit cards; only men will be allowed to have a credit card soon.
