I listen to Better Than Ezra still and attend their concerts. Most people think of them as forgotten.

Speaking of BTE, here is their lead singer Kevin (sorry, it’s a terribly lit video. But he posted it) singing his own song “Good” at karaoke a couple days ago.

If we're talking long lost songs...does anyone other than me remember Hobo Humpin Slobo Babe by Whale? Circa 93-94? I loved this song, and I feel like I'm the only person who bought their CD, which was A+ in my opinion.

Such an underrated/overlooked soundtrack.

I posted Tori Amos above. Sirens is amazing. Life in Mono by Mono. Besame Mucho by Cesaria Evora. The Iggy Pop song. What's not to love!

I think that's a leap. I'm GenXer and I posted stuff from the beginning to the end of the decade.

What I've noticed in this thread is a mix of some mainstream stuff and some not-mainstream stuff. I'm not going to generalize demographics from that. I think it's just a difference in taste.

Like this song but consider this more of the 80s New Wave sound like Split Enz/Crowded House

It has the indie jangly guitar sound of the 90s for sure

oops, the Caulfields were from my area, but that particular song was not their song that was all about Newark, DE. I hadn't heard it in so long, I forgot it was a different song on that album. The one posted I think was their "one hit"
