How do people not know that rosters change significantly after 7th and 8th grade years? There’s normally a lot of movement between most teams at this age.
Not clear if it’s true but it should not come as a surprise. A logical person would rather play for heroes, MnD or MDU now than wait for Capital.
Next year will be even worse as good players on mediocre teams try to make better teams. Why would anyone wait until next year to try out for a better team anyway? There’d be more competition.
I definitely understand why players on BLC will leave this summer for teams that go through high school rather than waiting to be in limbo next summer while they don’t necessary have great choices and their team ends.
In general DC area is losing players to Baltimore clubs in the years prior to
Capital tryouts. The DC area 2029 class talent is concentrated at MnD DC. If that talented 29 MnD DC class doesn’t move to Capital, Capital runs the risk of having 3 straight years of underperforming relative to the pre 2027 classes.
