This is stupid and untrue. McLean loaded with Jeeps of all kinds and Broncos of all kinds. Also lots of pick up trucks in McLean as third or Fourth car.

Meanwhile, all the US-HQ brands import parts, and many assemble outside the US. For example, a ton of Chevys are assembled in Mexico and imported to the US.
