That was a surprisingly judgment-free storyline. If anything, he was relatively sympathetic because the wife's character was so deeply annoying.

Tina was so wooden, which was disappointing. And, while I could relate to the marriage themes, it was like being hit over the head with them…over and over.
I thought she was more wooden in the beginning but improved.

No one was convincing as longtime friends or spouses. It bummed me out how unattractive they all are and how ugly their clothes and stupid hats were. (That's not something I care about and don't know why it makes me cranky except maybe they screwed around with a movie I loved.) The editing and pacing were horrible. Maybe that's what happens when you stretch a single movie into 8 episodes.
This was godawful.
NP - My feelings are along these lines, though slightly less intense. I wanted to love this and enjoyed a lot of it, but was ultimately really frustrated by it.
