The college play. Come on! There were better more subtle ways to do that. It was just cringe.
If you want a mindless evening- or 2 evenings, ok, watch it.

But- the original Four Seasons made you think and feel.

I enjoyed the show. I really enjoyed the Alan Alda cameo, and it made me miss him. I didn't realize that he both wrote and directed (as well as starred in) the original movie, which I also enjoyed. He was ahead of his time.

I thought it was entertaining-not great but fun. As someone in midlife, I appreciate seeing middle aged actors/characters onscreen. While I wasn't crazy about the ending overall I thought it was a good watch.

I didn't love it, but it grew on me. I'd watch a season 2.

I just don't understand why Kate would stay with her husband. That coupling makes no sense.

I love most of what tina fey does, she plays to her strengths which is the high functioning/overfunctioning professional daughter or wife who is surrounded by well meaning but underfunctioning/clueless friends and family (see Baby Momma, Date Night and Admission, for example). She's good here overall but I saw early on that she was sticking to what she knows best. Unlike a previous poster's comment, the couples felt real enough to me and tge acting was good overall. Steve Carrel especially. I found the music cloying and overdone but it was done by Jeff Richmond, Fey's husband, who is very talented. But it seemed a mismatch to me.

It's just too slow. Endless awkward scenarios stop being funny pretty quickly.

No one was convincing as longtime friends or spouses. It bummed me out how unattractive they all are and how ugly their clothes and stupid hats were. NP - My feelings are along these lines, though slightly less intense. I wanted to love this and enjoyed a lot of it, but was ultimately really frustrated by it.

+1 tried to like like it. It felt forced
