I only bring my lunch to work when it’s easy to do (like I have good dinner leftovers). Otherwise I buy whatever fancy salad I want for lunch.

Flowers from the yard in kitchen, morning sun on running trail, cold water on a warm day, freshly washed and dried sheets on bed at night, borrowed book from the library, mother's home made bread from tge oven etc etc.

Yes. But if you had to strip the bed, wash and dry the sheets and remake the bed, it negates a lot of the luxury. We do every other week because it’s a time suck and I’d rather relax than do it weekly.

ITA. My daily luxury is 20 minutes of "me time" - a hot cup of coffee, reading a book or surfing the web, between when the kids get on the bus and I have to start working.

I wear merino wool socks everyday once it gets cool. Buy mine in a pack at Costco, but they last a long time so far!

I try to sit outside for about 15 minutes a day, especially on sunny days, and watch the birds / nature. Feel more relaxed every time.

DP Time. How you prioritize it. I take time to read. I take time to luxuriate in a fragrant hot bath. Sometimes I read while soaking in said fragrant hot bath. A few minutes of yoga or deep breathing help me to have a calmer, more resilient day. Sitting outside for a bit to enjoy the day. Getting a full 8-9 hours of sleep.

I could go on. You could point out that my taxes paid for the store bought library book, but you get the idea. Playing music in the background can hugely improve my mood. So can sitting on the floor and stretching, and reserving time to chat with a friend.

As a step up in “store bought “ : once I had practiced enough for knitting to be relaxing, I ended up with several luxurious (think alpaca yarn) handmade hats for myself and as gifts. The hats turned out to be a nice bonus from my chill times.

Making a 3 cup pot of coffee in a French press and drinking it all day while I work.

Getting the "nice" hair gel (the Ouidad humidity one). I am generally a cheapo drugstore beauty product person, but my hair actually looks nice for multiple days now.

Orville Redenbacher popcorn kernels instead of grocery store brand. They pop up so much better on our weekend popcorn night.

OO flour for pizza.
