I am 58 and as the covid shutdowns ended, I found I couldn't remember anyone's name and couldn't find words (always nouns). I blamed being isolated, maybe it wasn't after all.

It's gone now.

I’m on HRT (started at 45, now 46) and this used to happen before I got on HRT. It has improved a lot. My question is, will it come back if I go off HRT at some point?

Do hormones actually ever stabilize or is it just a continuous decline and the only change we can perceive easily is lack of menstruation?
