They're not wrong though. Arlington's football teams sucks - that's why we beat them nearly half the time!

Yes, but they couldn't even get Taylor Swift to perform.

That said, I don't get the hate. It has highly ranked schools, new homes, and seems fairly family friendly. Lots of kids, sports, walking trails, and shops nearby. I understand why people move there.
Why so angry, OP? Do you have kids?
Town of Vienna DOES NOT have or run their own schools, unlike Falls Church City. TOV schools are owned and run by Fairfax County Schools. Nothing special there...and your bloated tax dollars send to TOV are NOT funding the schools there.

Not always true. I live in Arlington and do my best not to be cultured.
You can’t escape your true nature. Embrace fancy patisseries and intellectual conversation with other influential people in DC. Vienna people only talk about the new restaurant opening or “the big game coming up”
Now I know you're a troll or a rube. The pastry scene in Arlington, or even DC in general, is an embarrassment. Go get a kouign amann at your closest Tatte and tell me I'm wrong (and if you don't have one nearby just wait a week, I'm sure they're building one).
I admit im not from Arlington, but from gasp Montgomery county. I’ve been caught. I do like Tatte, no shame

You must be confusing the "city" with Reston TC or Mosaic.![]()
The city isn't about doing specific things, cities don't exist to be merely destinations for occasional fine dining or a cultural institution visit. It's a place where many people live, work, entertain, exercise, socialize, shop, and even raise kids.
