Can anyone recommend a tour company/travel agent?

I absolutely understand that I can do this myself. But one of the things my family enjoys about vacation is not having to plan or worry about what to do when we reach our destination. I'd love if anyone could share a good experience and recommendation.

TIA

I did my first trip to Spain this year. The Alhambra was cool, but I have easily seen the equivalent in Morocco
For me, the Mosque in Cordoba, and the Palau de Musica in Barcelona were the prettiest part of my trip

Next year I hope to do Madrid and Sevilla but in March

I recommend going in the fall when you won’t need AC and the crowds are lighter. We went in November and the weather was picture perfect.

Madrid and Barcelona.

Seville and and Grenada are lovely but less interesting ImO. But I like cities!

We just got home yesterday from a trip to Madrid (3 nights), Sevilla (2 nights) and Granada (2). Two teens with us. We could have easily used 1 more day in the latter two. Loved it!

Barcelona has so many interesting things to see like Sagrada Familia and all the Gaudi architecture! Plus the vibe of that brilliant, vibrant city. Should never be missed. It’s amazing.

If you want to go to Granada for the Alhambra, be sure to book tickets in advance. It does sell out.

Also if you go to Granada, let me encourage you to check out the Cuevas de Sacromonte museum. It's really cool. Definitely take a taxi or bus to get there, though, because it's an absolute hike to get to the museum itself: https://sacromontegranada.com/en/

I loved Barcelona. Much more fun than Granada. Also, you can easily fly there, so it's simply not impossible to add a day or two there on to a trip.

Spain is such a huge country. You can’t define it or see everything by visiting just once.

I agree with this. I'm not sure what all the fuss is about, although I had a nice time while I was there.

I'd either go to the north of Spain, or the very south. The trains are fantastic, so you could fly into Madrid and then get the train to the south.

Where in the south do you recommend? We want to tack several days in a nice beach location onto the end of a trip to elsewhere in Spain.

I’ve heard Malaga is nice

We went this summer and this was my favorite place to visit. Absolutely beautiful.

We went about 12 years ago, just pre-kids. I completely loved Seville. I enjoyed all the Gaudi in Barcelona, but it rained the whole time and my husband was kind of miserable. We were not big fans of Madrid (much to my surprise) and I wanted to go to Granada, but we couldn’t fit in. I think we took trains between the cities - it was a long time ago.

Same here. I’m not a Barcelona fan but I love Madrid.
