That's a good one. Also helps to keep you skinny.

Also giving up sugar in all forms. This is hard for me - I love sweets.

Good that you're giving up sweets then. Lent is all about sacrifice so you can get to heaven when you die.

Gasp. But what will you do without DCUM?!?

Sundays only during Lent? I found out as a kids that Sunday's don't count, so you can do all the bad stuff on Sundays. For me, it was eating Ice Cream.

I don't observe Lent any more.

Thanks! I love and will try this great idea!

^^meant to add, in addition to decluttering:
Reducing alcohol and sweets
Daily core workout

You should do that all the time. I hope you keep it up after Lent and don't consider it only as a Sacrifice

- Half day fast and prayer whenever I feel hungry every Friday.
- Spending 30 minutes praying after my usual bedtime.

Giving up sweets doesn’t count for lent. Perhaps, spending time with the Blessed Sacrament once a week, a good confession, Stations of the cross, daily prayers and reflection. Walking while meditating in the gospel is a beautiful way of prepearing yourself for Easter.
