Ukraine’s biggest backers in the eu got turned off by the charms of Z
"A drowning person is extremely dangerous because he can pull you to the depths. He can drown the rescuer. Ukraine is behaving like a drowning person clinging to everything he can, but we have the right to defend ourselves against harm being done to us."
A quote from the Polish President.
I'm sure he's a Russian bot/troll/MAGA too...
You think that's a bad quote? Ukraine IS desperate, and Poland DOES need to be careful. You, on the other hand, remain profoundly simple-minded and ignorant.
Poland is in the right. Poland doesn’t need to tank its economy because of Ukraine. The Polish are members of both NATO and the EU. Ukraine is the one that DOES need to be careful to not alienate key friends.

LOL let's pretend the US wasn't salivating at the prospect of regime change in Syria or funding opponents of Bashar Assad who claimed to be Free Syria Army and then oops they were Al-Nusra front. Let's not pretend the US wouldn't like to dismember Syria to get control over the best bits.
Russia mass bombing Syrian civilians wasn’t funny it was horrific. My friend was working for Doctors with Borders in Syria at the time and they were shocked that Russia even targeted their modest make shift hospitals.
The US was not bombing innocents in Syria and many Western countries would have been happy for a change in the brutal leadership.
The US is far from perfect because no person or country is. It has made mistakes. But its failings do not compare to the atrocities and war crimes carried out by Putin and his cronies.

Was the invasion about the alliance's expansion to Moscow's doorstep? Depends on who's telling the story.
From the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, we’ve been told that the issue of NATO expansion is irrelevant to the war, and that anyone bringing it up is, at best, unwittingly parroting Kremlin propaganda, at worst, apologizing for or justifying the war.
So it was curious to see NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg earlier this month say explicitly that Russian president Vladimir Putin launched his criminal war as a reaction to the possibility of NATO expanding into Ukraine, and the alliance’s refusal to swear it off — not once or twice, but three separate times.
“President Putin declared in the autumn of 2021, and actually sent a draft treaty that they wanted NATO to sign, to promise no more NATO enlargement,” Stoltenberg told a joint committee meeting of the European Parliament on September 7. “That was what he sent us. And [that] was a pre-condition for not invade [sic] Ukraine. Of course we didn't sign that.”

Poland has hosted the largest number of Ukrainian refugees of all countries. The U.N. records around 6 million refugees residing abroad as a result of Russian aggression.
In a show of solidarity with besieged Ukraine, Warsaw decided to assist Ukrainian refugees by waiving residency requirements and providing free access to education, healthcare, and family benefits.
Now, the Polish government signals this aid may not be prolonged for 2024, at the very least not at the same scale.
"These regulations will simply expire next year," Müller said on television.
"I think the regulations will not be extended to a large extent," he noted, adding that the international community should become more involved in the support.

America needs to step up and accept ALL of these Ukrainian war refugees.
Only if they will resettle in Mississippi and Alabama
😂
Ukrainian refugees in London and Germany complained when they were resettled near black or brown people
I heard years ago that ukranian people in general have an ungrateful streak but never realized it was so blatant
Your slander of Ukrainians is uncalled for. Ukrainians are people who long to be Free but are victims of a despotic power hungry nuclear lunatic invading their country. They are fighting for the freedom of the entire World against tyranny. And you sit here in comfort taking cheap shots at them based on Russian propaganda. Shame!
This is the talking point they've been trying to sell but no. They are fighting only for their own freedom. The entire world isn't affected by it.
Do you not see Putin’s tyranny threatening freedom across the globe? Would you wait until it is too late?
My friend, Ukraine does not stand alone - the whole Free world stands with them. Not only out of sympathy but also because they know that Ukraine is fighting for freedom.
