Saw an article today saying that Brendan Banfield has been charged with child abuse and child endangerment.

What are you talking about? People can't just insert themselves in to this child's life. Brendan is alive and is her father and is in control.

They can help financially instead of just gossip.

Who says they are just gossiping? Both families have a good financial situation. Anything would help obviously but money won't buy back her parents. Get off your high horse. You have no idea about what's going on behind the scenes, and it's no one's responsibility to tell you. I feel questioning innocent friends is gossiping more than anything else.

Also as long as BB’s mom is in the picture, I personally won’t donate to anything bc I wouldn’t trust where it would end up.

The charges appear to be stemming from his endangerment of the kid during the shootings.

Neglect:
" Any parent, guardian, or other person responsible for the care of a child under the age of 18 whose willful act or omission in the care of such child was so gross, wanton, and culpable as to show a reckless disregard for human life is guilty of a Class 6 felony."

Cruelty:
"It shall be unlawful for any person employing or having the custody of any child willfully or negligently to cause or permit the life of such child to be endangered..."

I wish he'd end up at Red Onion or Wallens Ridge, but it probably depends on what he's ultimately convicted. George Huguely never got sent to either place and, last I read, is now in some cushy medium-security facility awaiting release in the next 5-6 years.
