I think it's a funny inside joke that doesn't translate well outside her friend group. I have things my obnoxious friends think are funny.... it becomes awkward if it goes public. That's my reaction to her post.

I can totally see a scenario where he is tired of living a life that is first and center with all societal ills. He seems more like a one on one guy rather than living the large platform life. Not every spouse can be Dolly Parton’s husband. Some want a private and public partner.

Same! It definitely sounds like he blindsided her and she was clueless about their finances too. She also mentioned in her post today that she is “parenting solo”. So sad.

I keep checking back to see if anyone knows anything on why they divorced. Really, the reason for her divorce is the best kept secret, which is amazing in this day and age. She mentioned Brandon in her Valentines day IG post today (just in passing,.saying he took her to Hamilton last year).

Maybe, but some other options are (1) he has zero funds for an attorney, or (2) he feels beyond shitty about whatever he did and doesn't want to put up an ounce of effort for himself in the proceedings, planning to accept her terms whatever they may be.
