Just finished the reunion!

Katie is quite the little sk@nk. Good for her because she is not going to age well. Get it girl while you can! Her chin and teeth are really not attractive and she's going to gain weight as she ages. I mean I did, too! But I wasn't going around telling my men they had to earn me. lol

I agree with the poster above that Michael has severe mental health issues. Clearly the abandonment he experienced as a child had longterm effects. I hope he gets the help he needs.

I'm not buying Taylor's story. She gave so many random details that had nothing to do with the altercation - liars always give too many details. She didn't even explain what happened that got the cops called. Plus remember how she lied about that video she posted? Yeah, she's a pot stirrer.

Mindy is sweet but she's clearly much less attractive than Zach. Why is everyone acting so surprised that he wasn't into her? Yes, she's skinny but she's not pretty.

I don’t agree with the above. He’s not lying about hanging out with friends when he is with another woman. He’s lying about insignificant things, like car mileage and being a yoga instructor at a certain place. He needs help. Going on tv was a terrible idea. It exposed his flaws to the world. Finding and holding a job will be very hard now.

Having poor character is not the same as being mentally ill. Michael is a liar and indicated he is because it has worked for him throughout life. That's a major character flaw. It's not mental fragility. The good news is that he appeared to recognize that this was a problem that he needed to fix.

No, Meka isn't mocking him on the show, but she is certainly doing that on her AMA thread today. The point is that the viewing audience is mocking him, and it's all over social media and the internet. The producers of the show saw what was happening, and how sick he is, and they chose to keep him on the show and release the footage anyway. That's exploiting someone's mental illness. It is exploiting someone with deep insecurity and self image issues, someone who needs mental health counselling and help. That is different from snarking on someone's crooked teeth or bitchy comments or bad hair. It really is.

I think Michael lies because he is disgusted by himself and wants other people to see him as something other than what he is. Exposing him like this on TV is pretty much going to make it impossible for him to get help and fix himself because now anyone he meets will know what he is. I think he's mentally unstable enough that he probably had no concept of just how obvious his lies were to everyone around him. He really thought he was believed.

Those kind of lies are evidence of a very unwell person, someone who should be protected. The producers should have some kind of duty of care to a person they discover has a deep-rooted pschological problem.

There have been some recent, high profile suicides of former reality show participants. I think producers need to be held accountable for lack of responsibility in ensuring that people with psychological problems are not put into a position that is going to be harmful to them. And Michael falls in this category.


I guess I don’t feel the producers exploited his mental state. I also think mocking someone’s appearance is much worse that criticizing someone’s lying. Meka is allowed to talk about her relationship. I read through the AMA and I did not think she was mocking him.
