The list doesn't have CNU, which is one of the nicer ones. Mary Washington is also quite nice. I've seen all of these and would rank them this way:
W&M - Old campus and central area around the garden lawn are great. Newer areas aren't as good.
UVA - Central grounds around the Lawn are lovely, but other areas aren't really distinguished
CNU - All new buildings are by the same architects and have a consistent classical style. They are new so look well maintained. I think this has been a selling point for them.
Mary Washington - nice, traditional campus
VT- quite nice for such a large school
JMU - well kept with mountain views, but it has an interstate and train tracks running through it as someone commented
VCU - some nice buildings, but the only urban one here so a less traditional campus than the others
GMU - last on this list, but it really isn't a bad campus as some say
