Almost forgot....here is how you identify the "power moms".
Upon arrival to Evergreen, visually scan the fields and locate the ladies in the black yoga pants, fitbits, and baseball caps who are power walking and gossiping while circling the fields.
They typically walk in groups and stop all conversations until they pass you. Most look like former athletes.
They are typically the source of all leaks.![]()
Good group to know.

Two players were selected to Best XI in the East. I din't care about the politics. What it looks like to me is that FCV can produce teams and players that play great soccer. If I am a parent of a kid that can play at the ECNL/DA level, I am giving FCV a look. I will also give McLean a look. Haters, please go away.
Cool let them abuse your kid then
"What it looks like to me is that FCV can produce teams and players that play great soccer".
Yeah. That's what it looks like. However, they developed very few of those players.
Funny how Penn Fusion was awarded Coaching Staff of the Year for the East Coast.

Not "funny" at all - Great Club, professional Coaches. Well deserved. FCV is basically a parent run organization. Their kids were rewarded by their BFF coach.
Funny is that FCV did not receive this honor

Two players "selected" to Best XI in the East - Nope - not selected by DA. They were submitted by Christian to the DA with a strong write up. They also have parents whom are very close to Christian, text him suggestions and comments during games. Basically very political - like everything else. One of the "best" hasn't shown much of anything besides injuries for a year. Every step in that career will be on the coat tails of Christian.
I agree. Any one remotely familiar with FCV will know exactly how these players were selected? Should have submitted the same support for the Seniors graduating - not two youngers.
Bets on how long it takes them to show up on the Wash Spirit team?
Are you saying you believe the two selected for the Best XI will move to MU? No chance!
NO - the pro team/reserves team for Washington Spirit. Not the DA team. That door is open to them already.
No, they are not going to the Wash Spirit pro team...Puhleez!
Amazing what kind of rumors people make up!
You obviously don't know how deep this goes. They will head off to college, come back in the spring/summer on the Wash Spirit reserves. Head up to one of the practices or games and see who you see. Don't just assume it's a rumor because you are out of the loop.
I'm well aware of what players do when they come back during summers, thanks though.
You are so welcome. Glad I could help. Perfect - go ahead and post appropriately then.
