"The Miami Herald could not obtain video of the April 10, 2015, event, or a transcript of the remarks."

Kelly could well have heard her claiming to have been instrumental in the funding of the building. I wouldn't put it past Wilson to make this claim. What harm could it do? Nobody will ever know the truth, right?
I seriously hope someone comes out with a video of the speech.
Because, my money is on Kelly.


When Kelly was the Secretary of DHS, he gave inaccurate statements about what DHS was doing. Whether he knew the truth and was lying or just didn't know, he wasn't very concerned with accuracy and truth.

All I can say is that if this is what this administration is allowing us to see, what’s going on behind the scenes has to be so much worse.

I cringe at the thought of sensitive conversations with world leaders.

Tillerson had it absolutely right. I hope he’s got an exit strategy. Kelly’s damaged goods.

There is an investigation about his death, and everything surrounding this whole tragedy.
They initially thought he was kidnapped. I have no doubt we will get a full accounting once the investigation is complete.

I have no hesitation believing that she claimed to secure the funds. I don’t trust a word she says.

She wasn't even in Congress when the funds were appropriated. However, she was the sponsor of the bill to name the building after the FBI agents. She could rightfully claim to have been responsible for the name of the building. Kelly simply got it wrong.
