No. There is no excuse for her behavior. If her mother denied abuse, why does Farrah still engage with Debra? If Farrah hates her so much why is Debra still "Mom" but Michael gets called "Michael" and not "Dad"?

The preview for the rest of the season has me convinced that some bad, bad shit went down in Farrah's childhood (sexual abuse by a family member of friend) and Debra still denies it ever happened, which for me would go a LONG way toward explaining why Farrah is the way she is.

You're wrong. Adam made it public that the original Dads get paid almost as much as the Moms. 250 - 500k per season.

Sorry, but you're dense. His hair is short, they can only test for drugs on hair that was on your head when you were using. If he hasn't been using since they've been together, a hair test won't work.
