Even if someone had a great bod and was wearing them, I would still think- great ankles and calves- shame about the outfit! How much better would she have looked in something that was not that outfit? It's kind of a look that says "I'm done. I never need sex again. Don't touch me and pass me the pizza"

Yeah, shorts don't do me any favors, either. My capris offer the right amount of coverage while keeping you cool.

First, it is too early to bump this thread! A few more weeks people.
Second, yes, Audrey Hepburn has come up. Audrey wore ankle pants, not capris. Big difference.

Capris, not ankle pants.
Call them what you want, even pedal pushers, but they look good only if you're built like a dancer.
Many, many of the middle-aged women on DCUM claim to be 5' 4" and 100 lbs, so they'd look great in these. Assuming you are proportional, they're fine for a non-dancer as well.
If OP had posted a photo of what she meant (baggy cotton cropped pants with an elasticized waist), this thread would have died years ago. Yes. Everybody looks like sh*t in those. But don't blame capris.

Anonymous wrote:So when do “ankle” pants become Capri pants? Are they the same?
Anonymous wrote:Bump. Lets keep the party rollin!
Anonymous wrote:Do you guys really not wear cropped pants? This is a completely standard office look for me in the summer (sometimes with short sleeved top):

I didn't think it was even a slightly controversial look.
