But is it in the handbook? I think not! lmaoAnonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I have seen this Cap Blue cope about 50/50 PT popping up again, it is hilarious. Heros Green and M&D Black play 50/50 for all HS aged teams unless it is the playoffs of a championship tournament. Showcases are all 50/50 for those clubs. Why would anyone stay to ride the bench through HS, and how are those bottom half kids at those programs getting D1 offers? They wouldn’t, and it’s because they are good and they play.
Heros and M&D top teams don't do equal even if there's no playoff or champion. They both say they do. They both don't.
Weird, my kid’s m&d team does….and so does every other high school m&d team I know. Do you have some special insight that you can share?

Offer came by email at 11pm last night. Lots of BLC players, some YJ and stars, definitely including a few mediocre head scratchers. We also know a bunch of girls who got shut out completely who we would have thought of as blue contenders. Some strange decisions for sure
Also received a blue offer. Real head scratcher is an understatement. Know most of these players and something seems off.
Everyone has focused on club affiliation to make predictions on Blue make-up. However, HS affiliation may be playing a key role and leading to some of the head scratcher decisions. Look at who is coaching the Blue team, and you could easily see a big number of Saints girls selected. JB also seems to be throwing her weight around a bit with an increasing number of NCS girls selected. Would not be surprised to see some upcoming 29 Blue changes based on High School affiliation as well.
despite the perception the HS coach does not have much influence with these schools. Does not know newer, younger coaches.
who is coaching the blue team??
Kathy Jenkins
That’s a new rumor.
Facts.. KJ/BL coaching blue
Branden Cullinan and Abby Wok Orange
Wow! If you haven’t played for KJ before you’re in for a treat. Get mind over talent on speed dial
Will add, from a different age group. If you are not a Saint, good luck with playing time. Capital is moving away from equal playing time btw.
Really, they played equal playing time all weekend on my daughter's team.
That must be middle school. Just wait....
You don’t know what you’re talking about. Capital’s goal is to get as many players committed. They do this by playing every girl. MnD may be consistently ranked higher but their committed numbers are way worse because they don’t play their bench.
Anonymous wrote:What's the over/under number on Saints girls on the 2030 Blue team with BL/KJ coaching? 6, 7?
Why does Capital feel the need to attempt to downgrade another program by saying this every year? Someone tried this a couple days ago with the B teams, and then posted a commit list that didn't say what they thought it did. The committed numbers at M&D are not worse, let alone way worse. You can make a positive statement about Capital without trying to constantly denigrate other programs.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:My daughter made blue, I think we know more than half the team right now. Moco players are increasingly playing for Baltimore teams. My perception is that VA players tend to stay around DC. Are SSSAS girls becoming a larger part of the Capital Roster as Md players go to Baltimore?
BLC ending in 8th grade potentially accelerates the move for Md players to Baltimore.
This area should have two Elite clubs but only has one.
Really disappointing this is the status quo.
Can you share evidence that shows an increasing number of MoCo players are going to Baltimore? I don't think that's happening but am genuinely curious what the data shows.
