Don't you mean full tuition? How is your room and board being paid for?

Randolph-Macon and Mary Washington so far. DC wants to stay somewhat close to home so these are great to have as definite possibilities!

War Eagle!

Another one in at Auburn-kind of a shocker as Naviance suggested this was a reach!
Applied Oct 15, notice on Nov 14.

Congrats! Especially intrigued by the bolded. DC didn't apply to Auburn, but he did apply to several Naviance reaches that I felt should have been targets.

Excellent!

Curious about Duquesne - did the merit offer come with the acceptance or did it come separately? The student I am coaching is in at Austin College and Knox College with large merit offers but there was not mention of merit in her acceptance letter from Duquesne.

DP here. My kid's Duquesne letter did not come with merit, which if I'm honest, surprised me. I guess it remains to be seen if it will arrive later.

My DC got merit at Duquesne - the info came in an email about a month after acceptance and then we just got full financial aid package in the regular mail this week (but on top of the merit it was just the loans because we don’t qualify for need based aid).

Congrats!!! That's a great school with a great vibe. It's easy to find your people there and have so much fun. Also a great place to be an athlete too (but not necessary).

That's fantastic! Congratulations!

We applied recently, but it seemed we wouldn't hear anything until after uploading midterm grades. Did you all need to do that?

Does your school report Term 1 grades? DC self reported Term 1 grades with 3 terms “in progress” and was admitted 2 days later.

No, we need to self-report but my kid's college counselor seems to be wanting him to wait until the semester grades are out for some reason having to do with other kids from his school applying there. He got great first quarter grades though, so we will check next week and see if we can just go with those. Thanks!

Same. My student is a first gen student who had already received direct admission from Duquesne so the only question was merit. She received $38K from Austin and $50K from Knox in merit, so I would be surprised if she didn’t get anything.
