And yet most of this thread is about what a bad mother she is. DCUM never disappoints.
She didn’t “have to” pay him - it reportedly was an agreement between the two almost 20 years ago, at a time when the chances of Urban collecting big were very small.
And “most” of the thread is not anti NK - the very posts ahead of yours compliment her for an apparent good relationship with the daughters.
Way to totally miss point. It’s insane that a successful woman has to pay this absolute joke of a man money to stay off coke. He is a father. And you’re justifying this. It shouldn’t be Nicole’s responsibility for him to act even like a halfway decent dad.
YYMV but I expect more from men. It’s possible not to settle and end up with a loser ladies!

That's what the experience of rich and famous Hollywood women suggests. Please name one who ended up with an absolute gem of a husband. I can only think of Barbra Streisand and Goldie Hawn for women in their 70s. Younger than that, I'm coming up with nothing.
Not a big star but Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinz Jr. I guess, Kelly Ripa too. I’m not sure how because I cannot stand her.
Good job coming up with two! Seriously.
DP. There are a lot more. I can think of ten more at the top of my head starting with Tom Hanks:Rita Wilson and Courtney Vance/Angela Bassett.
I i dont think tom and Rita have a great marriage. Chat said there's issues there

Matt Damon has a thing where he likes to sleep with a new woman in every city he’s in…. Or maybe it’s country.whatever, his wife might very well be happy, but they have aan untraditional arrangement. They are not playing by the typical rules us commoners play by.

We don't. Of course it's all speculation. Just naming some longer unions. This is the entertainment forum. It's all speculation about celebrities and not that serious..

Bon Jovi is a big time cheater who doesn't hide it. Many non-famous women stay married to their famous husbands solely for the lifestyle, even when they are very publicly known as cheaters. Who knows if these are happy and loving marriages, but it doesn't seem like it. Better to be married to a discreet cheater, or better yet, a faithful man.

Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick
Was going to add them. Also MJ Fox and Tracy Pollan.
But it's true, there aren't many. I'm not adding them to say it's typical; I think all these couples are exceptions. Most celebrity marriages don't last. And they usually don't last very long.
