Mixed bag so far but not much of a sample set. Time will tell but most likely a good decision for NVA.

13s and 09s have already won against 2nd place in both age groups. The 13s have a tougher road. Both have to play CISC and CDA again though. The GD on 09s says they are legit. Doesn’t matter come Champions Cup because our division is so weak that VRSC will do poor regardless. I don’t think any team from any age group from our division would do well at Championship Cup.

I wouldn't be too impressed with those 13s, they barely scored against the punching bags of the age group that everyone puts up 9-10 on. They also have to play both Syc and Nva twice in the spring.

Disagree to a point…the TOP GA teams will compete with ECNL teams, as they always have, it’s around 3rd place and below I completely agree. You look at the scores all around the country in GA and the top team usually has an absurd GD because the rest of the division is weak.

Iron sharpens iron. That is ECNL. ECNL is very competitive til you get to the very bottom of the tables. GA is gaining traction however, surprisingly even in SoCal. Still not close to ECNL but the best GA teams are very good, they just aren’t from around here.

The talent is GA in this area is very questionable. Mainly a mix of ECNL rejects and other RL talent that lacks basic skills. When those combine in a GA team, it is a recipe for disaster.

Yes you can go practice with another team. There is nothing in the rules against it. It states Clubs Cannot Recruit, but that is not the same thing as families are actively exploring their options. I'd go attend some practices and keep it to yourself. Attending practices with other teams, but not playing games should be allowed.

Seems like the NVA 2012s (and 13s probably) are the strongest at that club. We already know 2011s are weak, but could the 2010s possibly be struggling even more? Not sure about any other age groups.

2009s are struggling as well - bottom of the table. This is to be expected.

NVA is 2012s and 13s. McLean is 2010s. The other age groups are weak in both clubs .

The NVA 08/07's are strong too, because most of those girls stayed like the 12's and 13's
