You change your drivers license and passport at the same time so all of your ID's match.
That doesn’t change the name on your birth certificate. If you do not have a passport, the SAVE Act would require you to show a drivers license and a birth certificate to register to vote. If the name on the birth certificate doesn’t match the drivers license (like because you got married), it’s a problem according to the law.
Just keep your name. You can answer to whatever name you want whenever you want, but officially just keep your own name.
Ever heard of a marriage certificate?
This is not hard.
Then make men present their marriage verification if their wives changed their names so men can vote

Anonymous wrote:Republicans don't care if this actually passes or not. At the end of the day, it's simply propaganda to perpetuate the false claims of voter fraud. It won't pass and every time Democrats win an election, Republicans will scream "voter fraud!! That's why they were against requiring proof of citizenship to vote! They want illegals to vote so they can win!" And all the MAGA idiots eat it up.

That is the catch here. If we want to have voter ID without violating the Constitution, it must be provided for free.
I have posted the same numerous times in this thread. If the GOP included funding for a state ID card used for voting, then no one would complain. This is a poll tax and unduly complicated, particularly for married women who don't have the access or money to jump through the hoops to comply. Ironically, this impacts more women in red states than blue ones.
It's easy to think this was accidental but there is no way they didn't intend for this confusion to happen. They just want deniability until its a done deal. They need to give Susan Collins and her ilk cover. "i had no idea i was voting for the end of democracy."
Also will not be surprised if certain states/jurisdictions raise prices as well as thresholds to obtain these documents - "prove to us that you were married here, then we will release the certificate" etc.

I guess I could dig up the marriage certificate. I do have a passport, but all my original documents were destroyed in a move ten years ago. I would have to reapply for the MC and BC certified copies.
Yeah, it's a great idea to make this has hard as humanly possible when I have been voting with a license forever and VOTER FRAUD IS NEGLIGIBLE>
