Musk wants to privatize *everything* - as someone who helped to privatize a lot of things around the world in the 1990s, I can tell you privatization is not a panacea and if anything, makes a lot of services more expensive for less value.

So short version, what is the strategy for those of us working stiffs with our life savings in a 401k? Biden did more for manufacturing jobs than any president since WWII while Trump is trying to cancel the Chips act and will probably kill the auto industry and end the use of the dollar as reserve currency. Meanwhile Republicans are trying to double the national debt with tax cuts.

Extending the tax cuts are $4.7 trillion so the debt is going up, way up. Doge is using the national debt as cover, because they know the masses won’t read beyond the headlines. The problem is the tax cuts won’t juice the economy like ‘17 because most of the cuts are just an extension of the benefits businesses and consumers already have.
