The Pope is elderly and in poor health, his aides also don’t want people putting their faces near the Pope’s face and possibly giving him covid. My neighbor tested positive for covid this afternoon and our health care facilities are masking and asking we mask to keep people safe. Covid could kill the pope. I don’t understand how Biden can’t understand that fact, he’s elderly himself.

I had seen the video without audio. Just listened to the audio. Yes, people were freaking out.

You're just coming up with excuses for what is glaringly an elderly and frail man whose cognitive abilities is questionable even at the best of times. Look, even a number of prominent Democrats are saying Biden is too old and should have stepped aside. This is just the hard reality of Biden's situation.
Does not matter one bit. Biden is not the decision maker. He is ultimately a public facing component of a larger machine. Thankfully we have the best and the brightest young minds in roles that matter and advising him.
Biden's "best and brightest" have totally f'ed up our country.
Mayorkas? Blinken? Buttigieg? Yellen? Austin? Garland? Haaland? Becerra? Granholm? Cardona?

Honestly as a republican, let me just say that that's all of Washington DC.
Everyone thinks DC are the best and brightest. They are actually about the dumbest. But they can shake hands and blow people.
This is why I want DC running less of our lives. Everything they touch, they F up. Keep politicians, lawyers and bureaucrats out of as much of our lives as possible; I don't need a 30 YO in government telling me how to heat the house, what I can drive, cook with, what straw I have to use, that men can have babies and on and on.
