The one with responses to his survey. Where they showed all the response including the ones that included personal identification info like name, phone, email. Then had to correct so as not to show that info.

They were removed everywhere. My friend works high school security and they said they were completely useless because of lots of false alarms because of perfume or there was no way of knowing who actually doing the vaping in a crowded bathroom and parents would flip out if you accused their “innocent” child without airtight proof.

Them worrying about parents reaction so much is part of the problem. They need to just plan for their reactions and move on.

In my day we had a student smoking lounge. Maybe it's time to bring those back.

Or as they build the new HS which are set to open in a few years, they should build bathrooms AND bathrooms that are really lounges.

Reality these days is ALL spaces have become a lounge. The dirty hallways and even classrooms. Is academic learning online, socializing in person the future? Not sure they even socialize in person. Students will sit in hallways next to each other waiting for first class to begin but all will be on their phones usually have headphones plugged in and texting sometimes even with the person sitting next to them!
