Calling people stupid is not a great motivator. I get it, I’m furious too. Most women who vote for Republicans will never change. But 1/3 of Americans don’t vote. Look at the midterms where CA and NY LOST seats. It wasn’t gerrymandering. It was because women in those states didn’t feel the threat. States with bans saw a larger turnout, it just wasn’t enough to overcome the gerrymandering and voter suppression in those states.

We are all at risk and we all need to vote like that. we need to educate and motivate more people to vote.

So stop calling people stupid and get involved or donate to mobilize people to vote and elect Pro Choice candidates.

People couldn't imagine how bad it would be. The 20+ women taking Texas to court are ONLY asking for clarification of the law. They aren't asking for a roll back only CLARIFICATION. Even Kate Cox thought she would qualify. Many, many women are finally waking up to the reality that "exceptions" are really just a way for GOP till give their voters a permission structure to vote for them.

It’s these people and the Democratic voters and poor women who haven’t choice in living there I feel the worst for.

I am currently in TX (not really by choice) and visited with my friend who lives in Austin today. They feel so helpless here. Her brother and his family left TX a couple years ago and are so happy their kids won’t be forced to live under these crappy laws. My friend is unmarried and childless, so she can continue to live here. But dang, does she hate the R lawmakers.

While it may make you as angry as the NYT Roe story, I highly recommend listening.

This is bigger than Texas.
Change won’t happen until we elect pro choice candidates.
