Hard to ignore since they've already assassinated a few.
Many thought it was just directed to Russian journalists, but now Ukrainians are complaining about western journalists too: https://www.rt.com/russia/583114-kiev-west-combat-war-fatigue/
The security chief accused “reputable and influential” Western media outlets of publishing materials suggesting Ukraine’s much-hyped summer counteroffensive is failing, Kiev’s troops are unable to take back territory from Russia, and Moscow’s resources are “limitless.” These sentiments slow down the Western military assistance to Kiev and stand in the way of Ukraine’s “peace formula,” Danilov added.
Given how unhinged Ukraine has become, and how much leeway they've gotten with terrorism, they probably feel they can go after western targets too.
This is better than SNL. Better than Borat.
"Next week, the teeth of the Russian devils will gnash ever harder, and their rabid mouth will foam in uncontrollable frenzy as the world will see Kremlin's favorite propagandist pay for their crimes. "
Who writes that sh#t?

Actually Ukraine is plastering Russian troop concentrations just about as fast as Russia can send troops to the frontlines. That's probably why I believe the last of the Russian elite unit reserves were committed near Robotyne?
With the caveat that Human Life is precious; no, Russia can't afford to lose healthy males. "8.5 inhabitants per square kilometre (22 inhabitants/sq mi). As of 2020" Also it's birthrate is dropping like a rock (between young people fleeing the country or getting killed in Ukraine). "The population density in Ukraine is 63 per Km2 (164 people per mi2)." which is about 8x as much. Also, Russia is invading Ukraine, so has to pull out resources (vs just reposition them).
I don't know where you get your info, but August was Russia's lowest casualty month since the start of the SMO, and September is looking to be in the same range. Since the Ukrainian counter-offensive started, casualties are running roughly 10-1 in Russia's favor.
Maybe meatwave attacks along a broad entrenched/mined front without air support is considered suicide for a reason. Russia is glad to trade a K for a K. That's 1 square kilometer for 1,000 Ukrainians.
If you valued the lives of your troops, you would have called this offensive off long ago and just dug in. But between this and Bakhmut, I think Zelensky wants to kill as many of his troops as possible.

Ukraine refused to accept a recent batch of 10 Leopard 1A5 tanks sent by Germany, saying they need repairs that the Ukrainian military is not able to carry out, the German news outlet Spiegel reported on Sept. 19.
According to the outlet, Kyiv recently notified Berlin that the recent batch of Leopards that had arrived in Poland required major repairs.
Germany reportedly sent experts to Poland to inspect the vehicles. Spiegel said that according to their conclusion, the tanks were badly worn during the training of Ukrainian soldiers on the vehicles in Germany.
Some of the first 10 Leopards provided by Germany in July also reportedly suffered similar issues.

https://www.nytimes.com/2023/09/18/world/europe/ukraine-missile-kostiantynivka-market.html
The Sept. 6 missile strike on Kostiantynivka in eastern Ukraine was one of the deadliest in the country in months, killing at least 15 civilians and injuring more than 30 others. The weapon’s payload of metal fragments struck a market, piercing windows and walls and wounding some victims beyond recognition.
Less than two hours later, President Volodymyr Zelensky blamed Russian “terrorists” for the attack, and many media outlets followed suit. Throughout its invasion of Ukraine, Russia has repeatedly and systematically attacked civilians and struck schools, markets and residences as a deliberate tactic to instill fear in the populace. In Kostiantynivka in April, they shelled homes and a preschool, killing six.
But evidence collected and analyzed by The New York Times, including missile fragments, satellite imagery, witness accounts and social media posts, strongly suggests the catastrophic strike was the result of an errant Ukrainian air defense missile fired by a Buk launch system.
Someone's being wagged.
Yes. You are. This video of what Russians did to a Ukrainian city of civilians happened a few months back:
This is a list of Russian journalists assassinated, so that only the official Russian narratives are reported:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_journalists_killed_in_Russia
Did they assassinate the entire corps of NYT too?
That comeback doesn't even make sense. You must be a Russian troll to be so cold-blooded.
Hey, it's 7:30 PM Moscow time so shouldn't you be signing off soon? Or are you late-shift?
Do you question NYT reporting that Ukraine has hit its own market?
Are you comparing an off-course faulty air defense missile that was launched to DEFEND against a Russian missile to the purposeful Russian ATTACKS on civilians? If you are not a troll then you are insane.
There aren't really purposeful attacks on Ukrainian civilians by Russia. The Russians have actually been very restrained in their conduct. The Ukrainians are the ones who deliberately target civilians. They also accidently(deliberately?) attack their own people and blame it on Russia.
Ukraine tries to blame everything on Russia, and for the most part western media goes along with it. Every now and then, like this this market explosion, the media pushes back just a little bit and you get to see Ukraine fly into a rage and "gnash its teeth" as it threatens journalists.
Yeah. It's clear the pro-Russian camp is desperate to try to float this argument.
What I don't get is why any Russian still supports the Russian Government? Their country birthrate has fallen. The young are fleeing. Soon they won't even be able to govern themselves. It's a dying country. Even their 'no limits' ally the Chinese make fun of Putin with the 'Putin is a crab' meme. I think the only reason why Russians still support their Government is the knowledge they could be prosecuted for War Crimes? But it's clear there will be an internal reckoning within Russia very soon.
"Russia’s Ministry of Labour has requested 230,000 certificates for family members of deceased combat veterans and over 750,000 certificates for combat veterans"
https://www.yahoo.com/news/230-000-certificates-requested-russia-125603472.html
Now just wrap you mind around this for a moment. First, it's confirmation that Ukrainian reports of combat losses are fairly accurate. Second, imagine the shockwaves that will reverberate within Russia once this word leaks out. And now matter how hard the Kremlin or FSB may try, it will leak out.
LOL how many family members do you think an average dead in combat has? Divided 230,000 by four or five and the number begins to shrink a bit, doesn't it.
Not sure if Russia sends out notices to siblings but even if you divide by 2 that number is terribly low.
Agree Ukraine needs to increase Russian casualties by 5-10x in next 12 months. Once Ukraine can eliminate 500k or more Russian soldiers/cubans/whomever else they can con to sign a contract or so Russian people may notice they are at war.
Let’s hope all the new weapons Ukraine picks up this week at the UN and US visits help them get more and better weapons ASAP.
Also hopefully UN will rule in Ukraines favor that Russia has to pay reparations starting this year.
Ukraine can’t do that without losing half a million if their own - which they can afford even less than Russia.
Actually Ukraine is plastering Russian troop concentrations just about as fast as Russia can send troops to the frontlines. That's probably why I believe the last of the Russian elite unit reserves were committed near Robotyne?

But if you want to see someone really down in the dumps, you need to watch Solovyov today. Solovyov had a bizarre and meandering soliloquy today. He seems to be soul searching - discussing the animal nature of Man, Good versus Evil. He looks around off in the distance. In the 'stages of grief' it looks like he's in 'Depression'.
What's interesting is that there are times where I can't tell whether he's speaking about Putin and Russia? His wandering crosses into dangerous territory.
[2:20 / 8:37]
"When you look at what is happening right now and see the armed conflict on the territory of Ukraine, not in terms like a special military operation, but you see it completely differently. You see it as an abyssmal confrontation between absolute evil and absolute depravity; versus the absolute heights of the human spirit."
[7:03 / 8:37]
I'm impressed by his iPhone 15 Pro Max, though. Protective case and everything. That's like 135,000 Roubles? But he's using it at work, so does that mean he's taking personal texts on-air? Curious.
"A ban is imposed on using (Apple) mobile devices - smartphones and tablets - to access work applications and work email exchange,"
https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/russian-ministry-bans-employees-using-iphones-work-ifax-2023-08-11/#:~:text=Russian%20ministry%20bans%20employees%20from%20using%20iPhones%20for%20work%20%2D%20Ifax,-Reuters&text=Aug%2011%20(Reuters)%20%2D%20Russia's,citing%20the%20minister%2C%20Maksut%20Shadaev.
I don’t know anyone who watches as much Solovyov as you do. You must have a very high boredom threshold.
