Think of it this way. You set up the drill. The more advanced kids that have it down you then add in defenders. So it's harder for the top team but all the kids even on the lower team are taught how to shift and move the ball. I don't see how this is a bad thing.

Burke and Bryc fields are convenient if you live on the eastern side of centreville.
Again if you are NORTH neither of those are good options. Going to SYA one day a week and more convenient fields the other days isn't that bad.
Half the events what are you talking about? Practice is 3 days a week. (Additional speed and agility day that i don't think anyone wants) League games and 5 tournaments. It's already too much I don't want more. Again I'm not rah rah Valor, but I don't really have any better alternatives at the moment. But at least make the arguments make sense.
This has been discussed already, it's not much more than the other clubs. But even if it is more if I have to drive an extra 45 minutes to an hour accounting for round trip 3 days a week. The time and money is more than worth $500+. Practices seem more planned out this year with all teams running the same drills. The coach(s) are there early setting up. We have good fields and space on them. I am unsure what you are trying to prove by the fact that we already played a preseason tournament. Some clubs played 2. Go enjoy your kids games this weekend. For those that have options enjoy your choices, so far this year is better for us than last year. We are taking it one year at a time.
Considering I'm not into specializing young my child plays another sport. I would not be happy with playing in more than 5 tournaments.

Yeah, we stuck with Valor longer than we should have due to convenience. It was a mistake. The coaching was just not good and this was on the top team in multiple age groups. I kind of think all of these clubs suck for different reasons. They are just out to make money and the people in charge probably wouldn’t be successful running any other type of business/organization. There are certainly things we aren’t thrilled with at the new one. But the coaching is better and it’s less expensive.
