Burke and Bryc fields are convenient if you live on the eastern side of centreville.
Again if you are NORTH neither of those are good options. Going to SYA one day a week and more convenient fields the other days isn't that bad.

yes, exactly. Sya isn’t close. VSA isn’t further if you take express lanes. Mileage <> timeAnonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:not really a hike. I know of several Valor kids that are at VSA now. But that's a hike if you don't live more on the Centreville end of things. There are actually a lot of options within 20-30 min. I think it partly depends on how much you want to drive and how serious your kid wants to get. And a lot depends on the specific gender and age group.
Sya is the worst possible option from that zip code VSA is even further. That hike once a week vs further everyday. Yeah it's not feasible.

I’d like to know this as well. We are in 22033. This forum says that Valor is awful and Herndon sounds like a mess and unsafe fields (from what I have read on here) so where do we go?

Every time I see a valor magnet I smile….(what is it they say? Oh, “bless your heart..”)
Haha same. Ex Valor here too and I never put it on my car. We stayed because our kid was happy (until they weren’t) but I never wanted to publicly advertise it that we were paying them money.
+1
Yep, me either. Like “hi, you like being part of a disorganized group and being shafted with money and coaching, too? Cool…cool…”
And the moms that are the managers we all in cahoots with each other doing stupid stuff like, buy socks and bows and headbands…
This ain’t cheerleading. Ugh!
Diehard Valor fans tend to be people with more money than sense. And people whose kids can't make a first team anywhere else but the parents are invested in being able to say their kid plays on a top team.
