Loved the way Shiv and Roman comforted Kendall in their own warped ways; it really rang true to who they are. They live their brother but they are f’ed up by dad and mom too.
Also, loved Roman going to Gerri for help at the end and Gerri, in true Gerri fashion, said, “but what’s in it for me?” And can’t believe Roman is shocked by that and thought their loyalties went further.

Did you notice the difference in Logan’s demeanor when he talked to Mattson? He finally found someone he respects. Even though he said “No” to Mattson’s proposal, it was clear he was going to take it after he got Roman out of the way. Even though Roman told Shiv Logan told Mattson to “F*ck off,” he didn’t.

In the “Controlling the Narrative” short at the end, the writer said they filmed it multiple times, until they got a shot where Shiv realizes Tom betrayed her, and then she pulls on her “armor” and reacts like a Roy. I do think she looks at Tom with a new respect, but at the same time is devastated. Her look at the very end after she walks across the room is brilliant acting.
Did anyone else catch the similarities with the shot through the doorway to the end of The Godfather?

Tom has always been next to meaningless to Logan. He doesn’t go out of his way to pat Tom on the shoulder and favor him with a smile for no reason. There is a reason here. Not sure why this is difficult for some of you to grasp.

I missed the shoulder pat the first time around, but the writer does 100% confirm it during the little talk after the episode. We wound up rewatching half the episode on replay, and once you know what to watch for, it’s clear that Logan is thanking Tom and also that Shiv catches the shoulder pat and immediately understands its significance.
