The color of her coat is horrible with her purple outfit. But her hair does look amazing and I love that she wore flat, presumably comfy shoes. I felt so bad for Kamala Harris and her feet--those high heels can't have felt good after a few hours on her feet!
I’d like to see the Clintons holding hands.
Dude! They are not together.
I've heard that for years and "got it" before - but at this point? WHy would they do that? What's in it for them?
That's such nonsense. If you paid any attention to their post-2016 lives you would see that they're basically always together. There's no reason for them to do that to keep up the "act" at this point. They're actually just a married couple who had some trouble twenty years ago.
The Clinton's are the epitome of, "The only people who understand a marriage are the two people in it." Bill is obviously a serial womanizer, but it's apparent from the earliest pictures of them together to the way he looked at her on the 2016 campaign trail that he is completely head-over-heels for Hillary. I don't understand them and I could not live like that...but I also don't think I could handle the emotional aspects of being Governor/POTUS/Senator/SOS/Presidential Candidate either. One thing that has always seemed clear to me is that they love and need each other. Though it's not the marriage I would want.

Not my cup of tea but they're young and should be having fun experimenting with fashion.
No. They look like pioneer women
+1 That’s not fashion. Quirky yes, but not fashion.
How many runaway shows have you been to? I'm honestly curious.
These remind me of Christian Siriano FW2020.
You do realize that just because a fashion designer came up with something and paraded it down the runway, doesn’t mean that creation is attractive or flattering, right? We get that you fancy yourself in the know about all things fashion, but plenty of others here are as well. And we think those particular creations would be right at home on the prairie.
Have you ever thought that they don't give a s*** if you find them attractive? They are Californian and Brooklynite with a different style esthetic. They like Batsheva Hay's designs and she represents their idea of pretty. The step-daughter is at Parsons.
Do you realize we’re not actually talking to these people? Or do you think JLo is also going to take the advice of DCUM? Your rapid defense here is so bizarre.
You don't get it; it's not about talking to them. I'm challenging your idea that fashion's role is to make one conventionally attractive to simpletons. Fashion is an extension of one's personality - vulgar, boring, quirky, conservative etc. That's why we have Comme des Garçons and also Kardashian's line. These women were guests and not applying for public positions.
Lol. You don’t get it.

Dr. Biden usually looks MUCH better. She seemed to be channeling the Queen of England with her matched dress, matched coat, obviously dyed gloves. She was the one who really needed jewel tones with her light hair. Nancy Pelosi should have helped with the selection. Even Amy Klobuchar (who I actually admire except for her fashion sense) looked better than Jill Biden. Hillary looked fat and dumpy I watched CSpan and she and Bill got to the top of the steps and he was mobbed and she basically moved on without him.
Amy Klobuchar looked absolutely awful. That coat was terrible (and I am a fan of mustard yellow and camel, in general) but wtf. She stuck out like a sore thumb and her mask looked like it was made of red paisley print. The outfit without the coat, in the rotunda, was equally as bad. A black suite with a red shell. Did she not get the memo on the color scheme? She looked as if she bought that entire outfit at Maurices, on clearance, last minute. An embarrassment to Minnesota (and I like her!!).
I feel bad for Amy. The whole presidential party and all the formers were styled by stylists so they were going to of course look amazing. Then there's Nancy Pelosi who blows it out of the park every day of the week. Amy was the only woman in any position of prominence to be left to her own devices. If she had thought of it, she should have splurged on a stylist. Clearly, she did not. Granted, I doubt Roy Blunt did either.
I thought Klobuchar looked just fine. Her aesthetic is one of sensibility and middle-aged, Midwest Mom-ness, and she blew it out of the park by those standards. She’s never going to be a glamourpuss.

Anonymous wrote:I thought any looked good. Her hair looked really nice and makeup too and I thought that mustard color looks good on her. The other women (Kamala, Nancy, Jill and Michelle) are all big style mavens—Amy’s not and that’s fine. She looked relaxed, happy and good.
Anonymous wrote:I loved Amanda Forman’s entire outfit. “Be the light” - she wore yellow. It was brilliant. And she had lovely hair as well. Everyone is swooning over Ella Emhoff and while I like her Instagram and funky style, I thought the Miu Miu was a drab color and the crystals tacky - it looks like a Jenna Lyon’s knockoff I’d find at Macy’s. Michelle Obama looked amazing. Biden’s granddaughter in the purple pants dress looked amazing. I love Kamala Harris so she really can do no wrong - I wasn’t wild about that shade of purple but whatever, I’m glad she wore a bright color. Dr. Jill’s coat was a nice shade of blue. Loved her white coat and dress but it was VERY wrinkly.

She needs to sic the CFPB on all those gloves that say you can use your phone with them but you actually can’t.
