I love you, PP.

I think you would be fun to know.

Yes. Times 100 I will add!

What they do have is some combination of luck, connections and chutzpah.

Connections is the key. Most of them have family in the industry or come from wealth.

Tom Hanks always plays the same role, is only an ok actor, and most of his movies are boring.

Plot devices: Insertion of wise AA person who solves all problems for white people.
Suicide to end a character and add interest.

Super rich, famous, sleeping with any 10 he wants, access to the best drugs, and now past his creative prime (31 years old). Many such cases. For 50 plus years a musician's creative peak is late teens to mid/late 20s.

I don't care who he's sleeping with and what substances he's using, I just wish he'd write good songs again.

Justin Timberlake and Ashton Kutcher have always been so corny and obnoxious, I don't know how they were ever considered sex symbols or endearing in any way. Legit nails on a chalk board insufferable.

Ugh I can’t stand her in that either. She is insufferable. And only slightly more tolerable in Groundhog Day.

Somebody (not me) resurrected this elderly thread, and I know I'm about to get lambasted for commenting on it, but so sad. I am so damn happy to find two of my people! WHO does Andie McDowell know or have dirt on? She is seriously one of the worst, most wooden, least believable actors ever, and she's pretty, but not shockingly fall-on-the-floor gorgeous to make up for it. Her line deliveries sound like someone reading a script in a language they don't speak. I don't understand how she'd get cast in community theatre, let alone feature films.

I thought I was alone in this long, deeply-held pointless opinion.

She was a flash in the pan. Name one popular movie she’s made in the last 15 years. In other words, I think we all agree.

How about this one: The Weekend. He sucks. Royally. He can sing in one key and is an arrogant person who thinks he’s the next MJ, but comes nowhere close.

If you read the whole thread, many MANY posters chimed in that this is NOT an unpopular opinion.
Everyone hates Andie McDowell in that movie. So, yes, you have found lots of your people!

Talented??

I have to respectfully disagree.

His acting skills are just average.

Watch Tropic Thunder. Possibly his best acting in a short cameo. He is very talented. He is also a wacko.
