"This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government's support for Mr. Trump."

So sounds like there's more stuff that Russia gave the Trump campaign which we don't know about. Russia has blackmail material on our President and his advisors - this is what many of us feared. And everything Trump has done demonstrates this is true.

President Puppet.

Trump Jr. is being transparent with his emails.

HRC bleachbit her emails

Comey still hasn't turned in his memos to congress.

Huge double standard here.

Notice the Libs don't have an answer.

Yes, they do. There is a big difference in hiring a private consultant and surreptitiously trading favors with a foreign government.

I agree that seeking the Steele dossier (initiated by Republicans, as you noted) is unseemly and disgraceful, but it is does not create obligations to a hostile foreign government.

Wait, Steele is a private consultant, and Goldstone is part of Russian government? Who represented the Russian government here?

Did you read the emails? The "Russian government lawyer" DonJr agreed to meet with. And met with. Who may or may not have actually been Russian government and/or a lawyer. But he thought she represented the Russian government. We know this, because he was nice enough to say so in an email he was nice enough to release.

Senator Lindsey Graham just said today that none of the committees received Comey's memos. I thought they were Comey's personal journals, not FBI properties.

You piece of sh!+ did you read the articles??? Comey did turn them over to FBI

“The woman, as she has said publicly, was not a government official,” Trump Jr. said in a Tuesday statement. “And as we have said, she had no information to provide and wanted to talk about adoption policy and the Magnitsky Act.

Steele was a freelancer, who was paid to do oppo research to serve his client's interests, not his own, and at his client's direction.

Russia is a country, with interests apart of don, jr, the reps or the US. who did this to forward their own agenda, and since they are a hostile country, their interests are by definition different than ours.

Individual paid by Republicans to do a job within the confines of US law vs. foreign government violating US law to further Russian interests. One was sleazy. The other was a federal crime.

Tl,Dr: no evidence Steele broke the law. DJTJR just published proof he did.

If you don't see the difference, you need a dumber discussion forum.

Don didn't meet with a rep from the Russian gov.

Your narrative is false.

They thought the info they were about to get came from the russian govt, based on the email they received.

“The Crown prosecutor of Russia [sic] met with his father Aras this morning and in their meeting offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father.”

Natalia Veselnitskaya may not actually have been a Russian Govt employee, but she appears to have worked with the russian govt, and more importantly, TrumpJr, Manafort, and Kushner THOUGHT the info she had was from the Russian Govt.

Being transparent about the fact he committed a federal crime does not make Don Jr. innocent of the crime. Just very, very dumb. Next time you rob a bank, go stand on the street corner and yell that you robbed the bank. See how it goes over.

HRC-- In addition to NOT being POTUS, has been investigated to death on this, with nothing criminal found. I know it kills you, but even the FBI said Nothingberger. Also, HRC is not POTUS, and her emails are a red herring that have been investigated to death, meant to distract from the crimes of the actual POTUS.

And, on the last point, you are JUST WRONG. Comey turned over his memos to Mueller and senate Intelligence Community.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2017/06/28/james-comey-memos-finally-going-senate-intelligence-committee/437665001/

So no, there is no double standard. Don Jr. Admitted to a crime. HRC was found to have been careless but not committed one, and Comey DID TURN THE MEMOS OVER TO CONGRESS. (Dumba**).
