My kids have kind of boring names, but neither of these bother me. They're uncommon, but not unheard of. I'd put them in the bucket with the person who thought "Isla" was really weird.

I know a teen girl Ainsley.


I know a 30-something woman Ainsley as well. I believe it's unisex, though SSA says it was given to 620 girls in 2022 and is outside of the top 1,000 for boys.
