Jen Aniston always sports capris with sandals and tank tops. It's an effortless look that anyone can pull off.
Nobody should wear sneakers with capris unless you are north of 50 and have bad feet.
I think Jen looks great BUT this picture is also 9 years old. Looking for the current trends here.
Also, those aren't capris. Capris hit just below the knee. Jen's are cropped, which is much more acceptable.
Right, and she's also wearing sandals and a nicely fitted tank (instead of falling-down ankle socks and gym shoes) and her hair is nicely styled. Its all about the overall outfit. I'm not a general fan of capris, but if you're going to wear them, it would be good to put some effort into the rest of the look (unless you're painting your house, of course.)

The second woman looks eerily like me, but I don't think I've ever stood in a room with blue trim around the doors. She must be my long lost twin sister (and yes, I have dressed like that for hiking or taking a child to the zoo or activities like that, I'm ashamed to admit)
The woman in the 2nd pic seems to have a decent figure. What’s stopping you from wearing shorts?

First, it is too early to bump this thread! A few more weeks people.
Second, yes, Audrey Hepburn has come up. Audrey wore ankle pants, not capris. Big difference.

I've been wearing woman #2's outfit for years and years. Throw on a backpack and I'm ready to go.
