DP. Nope. What got him fired was the chairman of the FCC threatening to pull ABC’s broadcasting license because Kimmel said that—not because it’s right or wrong but because it’s critical of MAGA. This is where the problem lies—you have the government infringing on speech it doesn’t like by pressuring private companies to take action.
