Per the MAGA conspiracy theorist in this thread, it's because he doesn't want to get the employee in trouble...I think? I'm not sure, the conspiracy got pretty convoluted at that point.
Correct. The campaign would probably prefer not to release the video, because what it would show would probably result in the ANC staffer coming under immediate calls to be fired. And that would make the staffer a martyr and a sympathetic figure in the media coverage. “Big bad orange man gets working single parent fired from government job, booo hoooo”, or headlines to that effect.
The question y’all don’t seem to want answered is why the Army wants it to go away so badly. The Army isn’t afraid of being doxxed.

Anonymous wrote:Can MAGAs STFU about wanting to see video when the man himself said you psychos would support him even if he murdered someone in public. WTF would video do? All you would do is make excuses like you have for every other disgusting thing he has done in his life.
You're a deranged group of cultists. You're not normal. You think someone needs to be a f***ing Democrat to know Trump is an insidious, odious scumbag. And then some of you show how really psychotic you are by thinking this is all so funny. How is it funny watching anything resembling decorum and decency, be destroyed?
You're an indecent bunch of cultists who don't deserve no consideration.

I desperately want the Trump team to release their video of the event and name the accuser publicly. It’s time to take the gloves off and stop playing nice with these people who made this whole thing up.
You’re a bully and a clown. The employee is not pressing charges because of people like you. The depth of your ignorance is profound.
Are you ever capable of having a discourse with someone you disagree with without resorting to name calling and personal attacks? You seem developmentally frozen in early childhood.
Nope. If you’re PP, you’re a bully and spreading misinformation. That’s the reason the employee is not filing charges. Because of fear of people like PP.
I’m the PP you cannot control yourself with.
Please cite what was misinformation in the 3 points I made, which I will repost again here:
1) The “victim” is declining to press charges.
2) The Army wants to close the matter ASAP.
3) Trump has been the target of numerous Justice Dept actions, warrants and indictments in the last 24 months.
Now, please tell us which one of those those three statements is misinformation.
And please do so without your typical name calling and rudeness.
DP
1) the mere fact that you put victim in quotes reveals your bias. Why are you so disdainful of a staff that receives nothing but accolades from the families at Arlington for their professionalism? You don't even know the person who made the report and yet you act as if you know she is lying. Talk about bias.
2) The Army never likes to get into politics and if the employee refuses to press charges then yeah, it's not likely to go in pursuit of them. Has nothing to do with the merits of the charges. The Army DID release a highly unusual statement in defense of the cemetery employee and rebuking Trump for partisan politics in the cemetery.
3) Yes, of course he has been, that's what happens when you are a con, when you break laws, rules, regulations, ethics, etc. Why do you think Trump is above the law and should be excused for his infractions?
Of course I have a bias. Just like you have a bias. Duh.
Are you a child?
