Not identical. Laci had a diamond watch the pawned watch had no diamonds.

Charles Manson lived in Modesto. It was never a sleepy bedroom town. The town is full of freaks and criminals

I already did. What are the chances of 2 crimes (burglary/home invasion and Lacis disappearance) happening at the same time right across the street from each other?

Modesto has a high crime rate. From Wikipedia:
Rates of both violent crimes and property crimes are higher in Modesto than the state average.[40] Of particular note is that Modesto ranks among the top car theft cities in the US. As of 2012, Modesto ranked number 1 in car thefts per 100,000 people,[41] although the city dropped to number 3 in 2013, behind Bakersfield and Fresno.[42] In Modesto the crime rate is higher than 86% of California's cities.[43]

And? When a pregnant woman goes missing and ends up dead ‘ most likely the husband/boyfriend/baby daddy since you care a lot about statistics. You can’t cherry pick stats and also decide when behavior matters (Laci’s behavior - she got pregnant anyway) but Scott’s doesn’t (indifferent, dishonest, lack of urgency).

Because Scott shoved it out the door with it on as part of his alibi.

So he wanted the nosy neighbors to come to the crime scene?

Did he also want the cops to go to the bay to discover Laci? He told them that night exactly what his alibi was. Why would he choose the worst possible alibi (fishing) if this were a premeditated first degree murder? Wouldn’t he go golfing instead as that arouses less suspicion than fishing?

He was “out fishing” remember?

Only a clown would believe his lies

The cops wanted a sordid sex tale and were obsessed with Scott’s sex life and jealous of him that they ignored the tips from the not as attractive elder Modesto residents who all saw Laci walking the dog. They really could’ve found Laci alive if they did their due diligence. The first thing out of the burglars mouth before they were even asked was they had nothing to do with the missing woman.

That’s super suspicious and a red flag. They came forward to clear themselves but yet their home and van was never searched and when sentenced to jail for burglary, one of the guys bragged in prison to another guy that he did argue with Laci that morning because she crossed the street to confront them

Everyone suspected the husband and then when news of the girlfriend broke it was game over. Were you even aware of this at the time it was happening?

The cops and media also ruined Gary Condit’s career when they found out he was dating/having an affair with Chandra Levy.

It turned out a criminal perp in the park did it and it had nothing to do with Gary Condit. If he weren’t a Congressman, he would’ve 100% gone to jail for her death

Gary never went to jail or trial. He looked a little suspicious but nothing legal came of it. How is this similar?

His career was destroyed because the Pearl clutchers assumed he killed Chandra because he was having an affair. Sordid behavior is bad but it does not necessarily equal to murder. Chandra and Laci are both from Modesto, CA. DC police didn’t find the perp who actually killed Chandra until 2009. He was deported back to El Salvador. The cops ignored all leads or eyewitness reports about him fleeing the park area because the juicier and sexier tale was more appealing.

If Gary Condit was a regular average Joe, the police would’ve arrested him but because he’s a Congressman, they didn’t.

What does Modesto have to do with it besides being a coincidence? Wasn't Comdit questioned in Washington, DC? That's where the murder took place

It’s an example of how affair obsessed the cops and media are in this country. It started with the Lewinsky saga and didn’t stop. The tabloid worthy tale is more shocking then a random crime by a perp with a long rap sheet. A poll taken about Gary Condit revealed that over 60% of Americans thought he had something to do with her disappearance and death

So maybe married men should stop having affairs if it causes so many problems.

Maybe women should be put to death for adultery like in the Biblical days. Let’s make this a Handmaidens tale for crying out loud.

At least you were honest enough to admit you don’t care about evidence. You want all cheaters to go to jail if their partner goes missing. That’s unless it’s one of your loved ones of course. Then you want a reasonable 21st century Justice system not a Salem witch trial and scarlet letter system

In two of the cases you mentioned Condit and Clinton, both ended up much better off than their affair partners. Not sure why we are supposed to pity the adulterer? Scott is better off than Laci because at least he’s not dead. But he’s guilty as sin and got had his day in court. Write another love letter and tell him all about it.

Because we have a morality police more than we have an actual Justice system. Laci knew about Scott’s past affairs and she didn’t care so why did Nancy Grace?

What is the evidence that she didn’t care?

She was pregnant? She told her family Scott was amazing. She loved him.

She could’ve done better in my opinion but she loved Scott.

Scott painted the crib and decorated the nursery for his son with a nautical theme, and attended Lamaze classes and Lacis doctor appointment on Dec 23rd. He asked the neighbors for advice and told them who Laci’s doctor was and what they should pack to prepare. There were parenthood books found in the house that Laci and Scott both bought and read. There was zero evidence he didn’t want to be a father. He picked up Ambers daughter from daycare two or three times even though he only met Amber on November 20th. There was zero evidence he didn’t want to become a father or hated kids

That’s not evidence that she knew and dind’t care.
