Damn, Winsome is running a terrible campaign from top to bottom. Any idea why she isn’t receiving enthusiastic support from the GOP establishment in Virginia?

We have three more years of Trump. We need someone who will stand up to him, not another sycophant willing to bend over when he pushes some new big lie.

How, exactly, is the Dem governor of VA going to effectively "stand up" to DJT? Like, hold a press conference or troll him on social media? That'sll show him.

Well, she could start by supporting UVA in standing up against whatever this compact document threat is. She could work to partner with other state governors to form a coalition that will refuse to give in to the Trump admin demands.

She could partner with other states on health care and scientific research goals.

She can sign legislation requiring all law enforcement, CBP, etc. present in the state to be unmasked and identifiable unless part of covert operations requiring plainclothes.

She can work with other states on the next fight - keeping VA tax dollars in VA for Virginians.

So when will Trump actually endorse Sears (instead of just maybe thinking about it)?

Recycled Republican fearmongering and deflection.

She doesn’t want to draw attention to the real issues facing Virginia today - jobs and economy - because Trump has only made those much worse with his reckless policies.

She also doesn’t want to draw attention to education - Trump is going after UVA right now.

Everything else just draws attention to her buddy Trump’s failings so she’ll stick to vilifying vulnerable youth.

Calling out his lies? Youngkin and Sears both supported the Big Lie.

Not send the National Guard?

Fight the ridiculous attacks on education, federal workers, economy, democracy, women, etc?

Like how exactly?

Governors handle state level matters. Like signing Virginia bills into law (or not signing). And they have some sway with Virginia schools. He did away with masking, which was good.

The insane anti-maskers got rid of masks a month earlier. Fvking idiots.

What is Youngkin doing about Trump's attack on UVA? NOTHING. Look at Newsom pushing back.

Other governors refused to send National Guard to DC to spread mulch.

Youngkin and Sears would both sign a full abortion ban. The VA GOP is insane - in the not-so distant past they trying to force women to have vaginal ultrasounds on women.

Governors all over the US have stood up to Trump in various ways. They don't need to bend over like Youngkin and Sears have.

Are you and your children masking? COVID is still here.

You know you can’t defend Youngkin and Sears bending over to their orange king so you deflect with…masks. Lol

By suing the administration, for just one exam.

Yeah that didn't happen.

I was in rural VA recently and this is exactly what I saw. I was shocked at the number of Spanberger signs.
