It's been made abundantly clear that you'd vote for a corpse over Trump. My question is why the corpse over the myriad of younger, more competent Democrats. Out of the Democrats I know, absolutely no one likes Biden but they are all resigned to him. How did he win the primary if no one likes him?


Same way he won the election in 2020 while sitting in his basement doing nothing, maybe reading the occasional teleprompter. It was like giving the Make-a-wish kid the football and he gets to score a touchdown when nobody is allowed to tackle him.

1. Decades of hands on experience at the highest levels of government.

2. He can relate to most average Americans due to his working class upbringing in Scranton. Lunch pail Joe knows the struggles, and wants to make the country better by building the middle out.

3. He so impressed the best president the country ever had (before him) that he was selected to be his vice president.

4. His immigration policies are fair, humane and not racist.

5. A win in 2024 will result in the rich finally paying their fair share of taxes.

6. His charm, humility, intelligence and magnetic personality contrast sharply with his Rethuglicans opponent.

7. Little, to no, turnover in his cabinet shows that he is a respected and fair leader. This has resulted in a mile long list of presidential accomplishments.

8. He is sincerely concerned with saving our natural environment, and his policies (renewables, electric vehicles) reflects that dedication.

9. He has brought respect and admiration back to the USA. During Drumpf’s time, the country was not liked nor respected by the politicians and citizens of other nations.

10. He will stop Project 2025 dead in its tracks.

I agree and it goes both ways. We have two historically weak likely major party nominees that are relying on each other's weakness to give them a chance in November. If either party were able to put forth a normal/average POTUS candidate to run against Trump or Biden, we'd have little to discuss ahead of a landslide victory for the normal candidate. Everything about the 2024 POTUS election is a reflection of the dysfunction and futility of the two parties in control of our Federal Government.
