I thought it was required for clubs to put pre-ecnl age teams in the league if they were going to put the U13 and ups in the league.

Honestly, though, if its true that the north-south pre-ecrl areas merged, I would be open to playing in a different league. I don't think its necessary to drive such long distances for one game. These aren't elite players or teams.

Agree that it's silly to drive a long way, but appropriate competition is important. I don't think it helps the kids to go from playing a lot of clubs' first teams to their second teams if that's what happens. There is plenty of good competition locally but it's frustrating to see it getting splintered across too many different leagues. All so adults can make money.

What do you mean, the girls played last year. They were not competitive.

What are you talking about? The girls didn't play in ECNL RL last season.

The U11 and U12 girls played in the pre-ECNL (VPSL) league last year, along with the boys. Would be nice to know if there has been a change to where the kids will be playing. I hope the boys don't have to take a step down just because of the girls not being competitive.

Where did you hear that?

Yeah this is new to us. Are you talking about boys, girls, or both? And where else would they play?

Maybe the parents didn't want to have to drive to the south division games. Someone in another thread said they combined north and south and kids were driving all the way to VB or Richmond for just one games.

Yes. Are you not seeing it on Capelli? DS was wrongly assigned a field player kit to order and had to reach back out to the club to get it corrected. He said the individual he dealt with at Herndon was very helpful and responsive.

Thanks I'll look at that.
