He has exactly two endorsements. Reid and the AEA. They are strong. But people seem to think both are a joke based on public reactions. Agree it will be closer than assumed now because people may reflexively vote for the AEA guy, but that assumes they show up in the first place.
That's where Miranda seems to have the advantage. She locked up ACDC support, parent support in unexpected corners, and other community support. My money is on those people getting out to vote and not really caring about this AEA nod.
The School Board Chair and the AEA are extremely strong endorsements.
It's embarrassing for Miranda that she could not get those.

Kind of hard for the Miranda camp to say he's not a serious candidate when the TEACHERS endorse him over her.
This is a big deal.
Are they really surveying teachers to decide who to endorse? This is the same AEA whose president embezzled a ton of money, right?
Oh sure attack the teachers. That's a good look for the Miranda camp.
Bottom line, the teachers have spoken and it sure is embarrassing to Miranda.

It’s not an attack on the teachers, I’m saying the organization has not been well run in the very recent past. That’s a fact. The organization is not the same thing as the teachers.

If you don't understand this, you also don't understand the urgency to address it.
And, it's because so many people don't get it that others are still talking about it.
EVERYBODY gets that the needs are great. We should be able to agree on this. That requires moving on.
DP. Great. Let's move on. That requires the APE types to stop harping on about it.
