Berry
Nope.

Such a class look on a stunning woman. Outclassed Cara D in every way possible!!!
Errrm, no, this looks like a lot of TJ Maxx/Marshall’s dresses from the late 2010s. Seriously, the “random O ring on dresses” look is not Oscar-worthy. This looks like Macy’s sale rack. Hard pass. Cara D’s look, while it wasn’t my favorite, was at least in the ballpark.

She does, but she looked SO uncomfortable in that cringey Jimmy Kimmel schtick just now.
Also, she really seems to be pushing the limits of what is a hijab. Much of her hair is visible.

This is so tacked on, like the dress without it was too boring. It looks like someone else’s train caught on her dress.

I feel like we've seen several Imperial Senate from Star Wars fashions - Malala, Jennifer Connelly, and this.
No, this is Jackie Kennedy-inspired. Stunning.

Anonymous wrote:Kate Beckinsale. Is it a bit much for the after party on someone who wasn't nominated or even, that I know of, worked in the last year? Yes. Does she care? Do I? Nope. Lady looks good.

Anonymous wrote:Rooney Mara's jacket (her dress is the same as she wore on the red carpet). She actually changed into this for the ceremony because I spotted it on her during Sarah Polley's acceptance. I looooove it and wish she'd just worn it for the red carpet. Still do not get the way the skirt of her dress is bundled behind her, but this jacket is cool and unusual and special to me. It makes the rest of the look make sense to me. Yes it's costumey but that's the point. The Oscars are about fantasy, high fashion, going big.

But the dress itself is hideous and her styling is very plasticky looking. She looks like a Bratz doll (sorry Mindy). I wish she'd gone super classic instead.
She changed into the same dress in black before presenting! So strange.
Changed again for the after party.
LOVE the after-party look on her.

So what I'm doing is just going through the photos and posting anything that jumps out at me as notable -- lots of pretty but boring but this jumped out at me. I do like that there are more men out there right now willing to take risks and experiment, even if the execution of this is not my favorite.
