I'm shocked that the HOS Search committee could have missed all the negativity surrounding Dennis Bisgaard's tenure at Whittle. Also, his background suggests that he jumps from place to place. I doubt he plans to be at Maret long. In light of the alleged improprieties at Whittle, I would rescind his offer. I would not throw good money after bad. Pay him to leave Maret now. He and his wife.
He was at Whittle for 2 years and 4 months per his Linkedin

Maret's announcement of the new HOS did NOT mention the time he spent at Whittle

Seems to me that Ian Cameron, Sylvia White, and Leigh Comas need to be canned and caned

I actually didn’t know most of the stuff about these families until reading this thread. I came across one in a different context and they struck me as a bit ridiculous and desperate to fit in with more money than sense.

We don't want him!

Please if you are a reporter, please come up with a more factual story regarding the now defunct Whittle School. WBJ was the only source that tried to factually report on the school. The two Wapo stories that came out this year was much more sympathetic to Chris Whittle’s narrative of the school facing hardships due to the pandemic when the main problem was Chris Whittle himself. Avenues had the right idea when it kicked him out. Besides, Chris Whittle is the type of person who never repays the money he borrows unless he gets sued. He got sued by Avenues and Sunny Varkey for not repaying money he borrowed. I remember when Chris Whittle sent out an email to Whittle families talking highly about his friendship with Varkey and that the merger was going to be great. Never happened and fast forward to today.
Whittle always overspends lavishly on architects and facilities and then doesn’t have the funds to pay even the contractors, not to mention the school faculty and staff.
